PEL International R&D has developed three unique systems: a 12” glide mechanism that recalls the feeling of the old rockers, a very durable multi-position reclining system and a lifetime lubricated NYLATRON swivel system.

The founders’ new mission is to offer a high quality product and standards of excellence. That is why PEL is vertically integrated with the help of two plants: a plant in which the complete metal frames are manufactured and another one that houses the following departments: R&D, sewing and upholstery, assembly, shipping, warehousing and administration.

In 1998, PEL International and ELRAN (www.elran.com), a Montreal-based manufacturer of motion furniture and a North American leader in his category, become strategic partners. Both companies remain totally independent but share their Canadian sales force and marketing strategies. As a result, all PEL International customers who carry Elran furniture can choose from all Elran leather vinyl combinations and fabrics. This is a first association of its kind in the industry.

PEL International introduces new products on the North American market every year and works on making its glider construction better every day, thus giving its customers the pleasure of relaxation.

The administration, as well as the upholstery, the sewing, the assembly, the warehousing and the shipping departments, are located in this factory.
